Every Bite Is Divine Workshops - Annie B. Kay

Every Bite Is Divine workshops blend the science of weight management with the transformational physical, mental and spiritual gifts of yoga. Addressing nourishment and self-care within the compassionate context of yoga is a powerfully effective way to break free of the soul-damaging cycle of dieting and stress.

This program is for individuals interested in exploring their relationships with food and self-care, and professionals in the yoga, nutrition and healing communities.

Through a process of discussion, experiential exercise and yoga, participants will begin a journey of whole-body health, including:

Receiving the tools to assess nutritional status, determine general nutritional needs, realistic goals and expectations, and identify physical and emotional barriers to overall health. Program handouts and materials are all included.

Learning a process for bringing awareness to the body’s physical and emotional messages. Exploring emotional hungers and how to soothe them. And bringing more joy and balance, less compulsion and deprivation to one of life’s great sensual pleasures: eating.

Beginning to develop immunity to cultural norms of excessive thinness, super-sized fast food, and media-defined physical perfection.
